Back in the days, “Trust” was having faith in knowing someone would be there for you, despite the hardship in life. It was the ultimate sense of confidence and intimacy, a hand to hold.
Nowadays, trust is merely a luxury—it is temporary. Humans have the tendency to be in denial for the longest of time. Despite the sky-high walls of trust issues, we still undermine our guts and believe in the relationship, because we simply hope in the goodness of others.
